Inventory Officer – Packaging Material & Finished Products

Trukai Industries Limited is seeking a passionate and self-driven Inventory Officer – Packaging Material & Finished Products to join its Manufacturing Team. This role is based in Lae and will report to the Inventory & Hygiene Manager.

The role is responsible for ensuring control and maintaining accurate inventory of the food grade packaging materials and finished products. This role supports uninterrupted production, accurate stock inventory records and compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory standards. The role is also responsible for daily collaboration with Production, Quality, Warehouse and Logistics teams to maintain flow and readiness.

Key Requirements

• Diploma in Applied Sciences preferably in Food Technology, Inventory & Warehouse Management, Logistics or Business Studies
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FMCG company
• An understanding of HACCP,GMP and Food Safety principles
• Strong understanding of food‑grade packaging materials and finished product handling
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, traceability, and stock control processes and Inventory management systems
• High attention to detail with accurate record‑keeping skills
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management, strong planning and organizational skills
• Must have a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficient in OHSE regulations and Workplace, Health and Safety standards
• Computer literate in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and MS Word
