Capex Solutions Limited is a growing Lae-based construction company delivering commercial, residential, civil, industrial and mining projects across Papua New Guinea.

The opportunity

We have created a new role to lead our stores team and make sure the right materials reach our project sites on time. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will supervise the storemen, control stock across our Lae warehouse and site stores, and run our stocktakes.

What you will do

• Lead, train and organise the storemen in the warehouse and on site.
• Receive goods from suppliers and coordinate deliveries to project sites.
• Run cycle counts and stocktakes, and fix variances.
• Keep the inventory system accurate and up to date.
• Set reorder levels for critical spares and materials so sites never run short.
• Report weekly to the Operations Manager on stock, variances and issues.
• Keep the stores safe, secure and well organised.

What you will bring

• At least 3 years supervising inventory, warehouse or stores staff.
• Experience running stocktakes and reconciling stock.
• Experience with a computerised inventory or ERP system.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication in English and Tok Pisin.
• A current driver’s licence.
• Construction or mining experience and a Supply Chain/Logistics qualification are highly regarded.
