The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Investigation and Security Officer to oversee security operations, conduct investigations, manage risks, and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures across its operations.

The role is ideal for an experienced security professional who can lead investigations, manage incidents, coordinate emergency responses, and contribute to a safe and secure operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage internal and external investigations relating to security incidents, fraud, misconduct, and other security matters.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat analyses, and security personnel management.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain security reports, incident logs, and recommendations for management.
• Support emergency preparedness, incident response, and crisis management activities.
• Deliver security training programs and promote a strong safety and accountability culture within the organisation.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Security Management, Law Enforcement, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Additional qualifications in Security, Investigations, or Emergency Management will be advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory security management role.
• Strong knowledge of investigative techniques, risk assessment, and incident management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in emergency response, security compliance, and operational security practices.
• Proficiency in security systems, surveillance technology, and incident reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
