Steamships Limited, IT Division, is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient IT Operations Support Team Lead to join our dynamic team.

This vital role is suited for an experienced and detail-oriented professional who excels in providing exceptional IT support while ensuring seamless and efficient IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the IT operations support team to ensure high-quality technical support and service delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution of IT service requests, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies, data protection measures, and compliance with company standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members, fostering continuous learning and skill development.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand IT needs and provide tailored support solutions.
  • Manage IT asset inventory, including hardware, software, and licensing.
  • Monitor system performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements and best practices to optimize IT support and service management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • IT certifications (e.g., Cisco) are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
