IT SUPPORT OFFICER

The successful candidate should possess the following requirements for this position:

• Must have Diploma or preferably a Degree in Information Technology (IT);
• Log and track IT support requests, escalating unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff when required;
• Provide first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, remote tools, and in person;
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, networks, printers and scanners;
• Ensure IT security practices are followed, including antivirus updates, patch management, and endpoint protection;
• Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, licenses, and inventory of IT assets;
• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades;
• Communicate with clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter;
• Contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments;
• Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults;
• Excellent work ethics;
• Effective communication skills;
• Be a team player with attention to detail;
