IT Systems Administrator - Microsoft 365
Job Summary
The Systems Administrator - Microsoft 365 will be responsible for the administration, support, and management of the company's Microsoft 365 environment. This role will ensure the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of all Microsoft 365 systems, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power Automate and Power BI to support automation and reporting needs across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Oversee and manage the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring user account management, service administration, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
- Power Automate Development: Develop and maintain automated workflows with Power Automate, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance efficiency and productivity, while ensuring optimal performance and issue resolution.
- Power BI Reporting: Create and manage Power BI reports and dashboards, collaborating with departments to meet reporting needs, while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain system performance and health, ensuring security and reliability through regular updates and documentation.
- User Support and Training: Provide technical support and training for Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring users are well-informed and issues are resolved promptly.
- Project Management: Lead and manage Microsoft 365 IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation and alignment with business objectives.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures for Microsoft 365, ensuring compliance with regulations and conducting regular audits to mitigate risks.
- Ethics and Integrity: Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability while ensuring all business practices are conducted with the highest ethical standards and social responsibility.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of work experience.
- Experience in administering Microsoft 365 environments.
- Proficiency in Power Automate for creating and managing automated workflows.
- Strong experience with Power BI for developing reports and dashboards.
- In-depth knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar certification.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices.
- Previous experience in project management.
