IT Systems Administrator
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team at Hargy Oil Palms Limited (HOPL).
About the Role:
The IT Systems Administrator will be required to provide effective and skilled assistance across Hargy Oil Palms Limited (HOPL) operational sites. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all critical IT Infrastructure, leading and supporting the local Infrastructure IT team and providing technical support to end users across HOPL operational sites.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft Certificates and Network and Security.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ICT infrastructure and systems administrator role.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to configure server hardware IBM and HPE servers, Storage, Virtualization, Backup Solutions and Cloud platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 or Azure Entra Administration.
- Proficient in using server monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure and systems configurations and procedures.
- Experience managing server-related projects, such as upgrades, migrations, or new deployments.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Great at organising, prioritising and multitasking.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and compliance frameworks and regulations related to ICT infrastructure and data security.
- Valid Driver’s License
