Join Our Team as an IT Technical Support Analyst at Steamships Limited!

Steamships Limited is looking for a reliable and tech-savvy IT Technical Support Analyst to provide first-line support and technical assistance across our business divisions. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for solving problems and improving user experience within a dynamic corporate environment.

The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day IT support, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and ensure users have a seamless technology experience. They will work closely with the wider IT team to support infrastructure, systems, and business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in the administration, maintenance of the File Server, DNS, DHCP, DMS, CargoPRO, DepotPRO Server and Virtualization
  • Responsible in maintaining user accounts in AD, DMS, CargoPRO, DepotPRO Server and Virtualization.
  • Responsible in the installation, setup, configuration, and deployment of File Server, DNS, DHCP, CargoPRO, DepotPRO, DMS
  • Providing Technical Support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 Professional Edition Operating System
  • Providing Technical Support for any Windows and Application Software (Utility and Standard Software) issues.
  • Provides IT Technical Support for PC/Laptop Systems hardware and software configuration, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Responsible in building PCs and Laptops, and installation of Windows Desktop OS and STC Standards on PCs and Laptops.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support or technical analyst role.
  • Experience in a multi-site or corporate environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge and experience of a range of diagnostic utilities and a general knowledge of technology and an ability to utilize technological devices effectively.
  • Working knowledge and experience on basic computer hardware and software
  • Working knowledge and experience with desktop operating systems including Windows 10 and Windows 11
  • Working knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022
  • Working knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Group Policy, Security, DNS, and DHCP
