We are a major construction company based in Lae, Morobe Province delivering major infrastructure and building projects across Papua New Guinea. Our Crossroad Hotel Division is looking for a highly organized and proactive Stock Controller to join the team.

What You'll Do

As part of Crossroads Hotel team, the successful incumbent for this role will be:

• Responsible for managing the purchasing, storing and issuing of all food & beverage consumables
• Record all purchases receipted into stores and ensure these are recorded in the appropriate system (Pronto)
• Record all requisitions for material and ensure they are posted against the correct job
• Facilitate the monthly stock take by providing stock take item lists
• Reconcile the stock take results against the Pronto ‘in stock’ numbers and report on variances
• Monitor the purchase requisition to ensure maximum par levels are not exceeded

What We're Looking For

• Have a minimum of Grade 10/12 Certificate
• Vocational or Technical Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
• Have knowledge of Pronto and IDS
• Intermediate Skills in MS Excel and MS Word
• Exceptional Customer Service skills and experience
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Excellent command of oral and written English
• Relevant workplace safety, health and environment policies and regulations
