JOIN OUR TEAM | TRANSPORT COORDINATOR

We are a major construction company based in Lae, Morobe Province delivering major infrastructure and building projects across Papua New Guinea. We're looking for a highly organized and proactive Transport Coordinator to take charge of our fleet operations and ensure the smooth movement of vehicles, equipment, materials, and personnel across project sites.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and monitor the daily deployment of vehicles and construction equipment.
• Ensure materials, machinery, and personnel arrive safely and on time.
• Manage fleet scheduling, vehicle utilization, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
• Maintain transport records and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with project teams, drivers, and service providers to support site operations.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, efficiency, and accountability.

What We're Looking For

• Experience of more than 5 years in similar roles especially in transport coordination, fleet management, logistics, or construction operations.
• Strong planning, organizational, communication & interpersonal skills and time management.
• Preferably some experience and be familiar with GPS fleet management system for all types of transport vehicles including earthmoving equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport compliance.
• A team player with a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

• Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate or preferably, a diploma in logistics management

• Must have PNG Class 4, 6 and 7 Drivers Licenses

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
