Summary:

Prepare food and cook simple dishes under supervision while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare vegetables and meat, make basic sauces, and set up and restock kitchen stations.
• Cook simple items as directed and ensure the pass is consistently stocked.
• Wash dishes using both machine and hand methods, clean benches, equipment, and floors, and dispose of waste properly.
• Label and date all items, follow FIFO procedures, and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Assist with stock counts and support end-of-shift kitchen closing procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Papua New Guinea citizen; 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic knife skills with the ability to follow recipes and hygiene standards.
• Physically fit to lift up to 20 kg; reliable and punctual.
