POSITION VACANCY: LABOUR RUN TRUCK DRIVERS

Reinhold Engineering and Group of Companies Limited is a nationally owned civil works and building construction company based in Port Moresby. We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Labour Run Truck Drivers to support employee transport between approved pickup points, accommodation and project sites.

About the Role

You will provide safe and punctual workforce transport using vehicles approved and appropriately equipped for passenger carriage, following authorised routes and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport employees safely to and from assigned locations.

• Complete pre-start inspections and report defects before vehicle use.

• Confirm passenger numbers remain within approved seating capacity and ensure required restraints are used.

• Coordinate pickup times, shift changes and drop-off arrangements with Fleet and site supervisors.

• Maintain passenger records, trip sheets and vehicle logs as required.

• Keep access points clear and ensure safe boarding and disembarking.

• Report delays, incidents, unsafe conditions and vehicle problems promptly.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and follow approved fatigue and driving procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid PNG driver’s licence appropriate to the assigned vehicle and passenger transport duties.

• Relevant driving experience, preferably in workforce or construction transport.

• Any passenger transport authorisation required for the assigned service.

• Ability to carry out vehicle checks and maintain trip records.

• Good knowledge of local routes and project access roads.
