The Role:
The organisation is seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning & Development Manager to lead the design, delivery, and management of its' corporate learning programs. This role is key in shaping the organisation’s future-ready workforce by implementing structured learning pathways, driving continuous capability development, and managing performance standards across all employee segments.
The successful candidate will have a special focus on the organisation's Graduate Development Program (GDP), overseeing up to 20 trainees annually. This includes managing their onboarding, mentoring, performance monitoring, and progression through structured learning pathways that lead to nationally recognised qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the Learning Resource Centre’s strategic business plan and learning governance frameworks.
- Design, deliver, and manage structured learning pathways, including the Graduate Development Program.
- Develop cost-effective, fit-for-purpose learning solutions aligned with organisational priorities and workforce planning.
- Build and maintain curricula, content, and course materials that support both leadership and technical development.
- Manage and optimise learning management systems (LMS), including experience with multiple platforms.
- Conduct training needs analysis, ensure high-quality course design, and engage qualified internal and external facilitators.
- Implement robust evaluation, reporting, and learning reinforcement strategies to measure program impact.
- Oversee performance management, goal setting, and development planning for trainees and other employees.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and performance excellence across the organisation.
- Proven experience in learning and development, curriculum design, and content development.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Organisational Psychology, Education or Training & Development or related fields
- Hands-on experience managing an LMS; knowledge of iChris or similar platforms is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of graduate or early-career development programs, including structured pathways to certification or diplomas.
- Demonstrated ability to design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality learning solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a systems-based approach to workforce development and capability building.
