Hornibrook NGI Limited is a major Steel Fabrication and Construction company that is involved in Steel Fabrication, Bridging, Heavy Transport and Building and Construction works. The company is an equal opportunity employer based in Lae, Morobe Province of Papua New Guinea and currently has immediate vacancies for qualified and suitable person for the following role:

LICENSED ELECTRICIAN x 3 (Building/Fabrication/Property)

Reporting to the Site Project Manager/Fabrication Superintendent/Maintenance Supervisor, the successful incumbent will be responsible to maintain, repair and inspect electric power, lighting, and communication systems, tools and assist with equipment repair/installation..etc.

The Candidates MUST have the following and demonstrate the following:

• Minimum of Grade 12 qualification;
• Must have a relevant Trade Qualification (NATTB Tradesman Certificate);
• Must have a valid Electrician’s Licence recognized by PNG Power; (HR to verify with PNG Power
• Should have at least 3- 5 years work experience in similar role;
• Be able to carry out inspections, troubleshooting, installing, repair & maintenance of all electrical equipment and appliances, both domestic and industrial;
• Be able to assist with providing estimates and put together a Bill of Quantities for electrical fittings and or materials required for project as required.
• Be of sober habits and possess excellent work ethics;
• Must have good communication skills, and organisational and time management skills.
