Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Light Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering top-quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
-Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on light vehicles.
- Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and technical expertise.
- Perform safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.
- Replace and repair components including brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Team Leads
and Service Manager.
- Uphold health and safety standards in the workshop.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Trades certificate from NATTB or other qualified training institutions.
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills for determining vehicle problems and how to resolve them.
- Competency using diagnostic equipment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
