About the role:

Our client is seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee and optimise their logistics operations, ensuring precision, efficiency, and smooth delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage logistics operations to ensure efficient distribution with minimal waste and optimal stock levels.
• Identify and contract transport providers to meet distribution needs at the lowest cost.
• Implement and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimise operations.
• Lead, train, and develop logistics staff to ensure high performance.
• Oversee transportation and warehouse operations to achieve cost-effective and target-driven results.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained in all logistics operations and implement preventive measures.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years in logistics, preferably in a multinational company, with expertise in inventory management, shipping, and transport sectors.
• Solid management and planning capabilities.
• Strong customer service and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse and inventory management systems.
• Highly organised, results-driven, and proactive.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
