Summary

To carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance works across the property, including wiring, lighting, sockets, and generators to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspection and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting, and electrical fixtures.
  • Perform generator maintenance, including fuel checks, oil changes, and fault diagnosis.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and power outages.
  • Keep maintenance records and report faults or safety risks to the supervisor.
  • Ensure work complies with electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Assist in planning upgrades and energy efficiency improvements.
  • Support other maintenance tasks when required.

Job Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Licensed electrician preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in property/building electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in generator servicing is a must.
  • Able to work independently and handle breakdowns after hours if needed.
  • Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills.
