Leading Asia Pacific hotel chain has an opportunity for a driven, steadfast, passionate and hands-on Maintenance Manager with a deep understanding of building codes and Health & Safety regulations. The Role
This exciting position, reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, requires 5-6 years of work experience in maintenance, planning, and management within a hotel or commercial industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise and knowledge in air-conditioning, electrical installation, and commercial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring efficient and safe services.
- Manage budgets and maintain financial records.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Facilitate communication between management and staff.
- Ensure effective operations, productivity, and compliance with standards.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
- Lead department briefings and delegate tasks.
- Monitor equipment, resources, and stock.
- Provide reports on service and audits.
- Keep the GM updated on maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Engineering or Certified Trades qualification.
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and Health & Safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Computer literate and detail-oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Compliant with building codes and high safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and strong interpersonal skills.
- Mature, stable temperament, and deadline-oriented.
- Committed to guest satisfaction with a positive attitude.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
