About the role

As our site continues to grow with production doubling in 2026, we have created a new role that will lead the site services and utilities planning function.

In this role you will be responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities to optimise equipment performance and reliability. Utilising Pronto as the core CMMS, you will be charged with forecasting component requirements, tracking critical equipment metrics, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. This role plays a key part in minimising equipment downtime through structured planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for both planned and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Work with Maintenance and Power Station teams to ensure schedules are achievable and that they are achieved.
  • Train and direct the Data and Parts Clerks to ensure they work as required to support the Planning and Scheduling activity and to ensure they correctly prepare work order work packages for the supervisors.
  • Identify safety hazard on task and incorporate into plan.
  • Responsible for initial screening of work orders and analyse of required level of planning, arrange for parts, skilled tradesman and TA and hours required to perform task,
  • Liaise directly with suppliers for quotation and raise Purchase order as instructed by Superintendent and Managers
  • Daily Report, Weekly Report and Monthly Reports updated as required
  • Communicate clearly with contractors’ resources on specific task assigned to contractors.
  • Ensure work orders are closed once task completed within 24 hrs and parts required for next service are sourced and planned in to forecast.
  • Ensure weekly schedules and daily service sheets on all equipment are provided
  • Daily Updating of Generator machine hours

About You

  • Mechanical/electrical trade and/or Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Strong understanding of Construction, General Building Maintenance and Fixed Plant, mainly Generators.
  • 5 years of practical experience in a maintenance-focused industry, preferably in a mining environment.
  • Proficiency in Pronto ERP or other CMMS platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of condition monitoring, failure analysis, and reliability metrics..
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
  • Sound planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training.
  • Actively promotes a safe and healthy culture.
