Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Select and set up welding machines (gas, electric, arc).
  • Weld and join metal parts using standard techniques.
  • Check welds for quality and accuracy.
  • Do regular maintenance on welding equipment.
  • Follow safety rules and wear protective gear.
  • Work with other welders and fabricators on projects.
  • Keep the welding area clean and organised.

Job Requirements

  • Proven welding experience.
  • Welding certificate in processes
  • Skilled in welding tools and machines.
  • Good knowledge of metals and welding materials.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Physically fit to work in different environments.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
