About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant with exceptional report writing skills to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who excels in managing financial records and producing high-quality reports that provide insights to support strategic decision-making. The Management Accountant responsibilities include preparing financial reports, perform cost analyses, prepare budget reports, and assist with financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and ledgers, ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare core financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Compile and present clear, comprehensive reports and summaries to support informed decision-making by stakeholders.
- Analyse financial data and generate customised reports that highlight key trends and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and support the preparation of required tax documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and reports
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process through thorough financial analysis.
- Improve reporting practices to enhance clarity, precision, and impact.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Attaché, Microsoft Excel, and Word).
- Exceptional report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- A cover letter addressing key criteria of the role
- An updated CV in Microsoft Word format, outlining employment history, educational qualifications, and listing three referees (referees will only be contacted if shortlisted)
