The Baptist Union of Papua New Guinea (BUPNG) has immediate vacancies for the following positions. These are full time positions based in Telefomin Rural Hospital, Sandaun Province.

Manager Public Health – HEO 4 (CHSSAN119) PS12

Responsible to the overall planning and implementation of Public Health Programs within the Hospital catchment area. Reports to the Medical Superintendent to provide efficient and effective Public Health Services to all people served by the District Hospital

Outline of duties:

• Effective and efficient planning and implementation of public health services within the District Hospital catchment area
• Ensure healthy Island Concept activities are planned and implemented
• Ensure Maternal and Child Health Clinics are planned annually and implemented
• Ensure adequate medical supplies and logistics necessary for implementation of Public Health Programs
• Ensure Communicable Diseases prevention and treatment programs are planned and implemented.

Requirements for the role:

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or Diploma in Public Health /Health Extension Studies
• Must have minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role
• Must be registered with PNG Medical Board of PNG
• An understanding of Christine Health Services different Churches doctrines and principles
• Computer skills is essential, MS Office applications
• Must have a valid NID Card or Birth Certificate with sober
