Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

PipeMakers is the only manufacturer in Port Moresby, Papua Niugini of PVC pipes and conduits. We are seeking a capable and experienced person as its Manager.

The Manager is responsible for the total operational and commercial success of the PipeMakers PNG facility in POM. This role requires a leader who can maintain a high-output manufacturing environment while driving the sales team to meet monthly and annual revenue targets. You will oversee all departments, including Production, Sales, Maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operational Leadership

• Drive operational efficiency and grow the business by maximising production and profitable sales.
• Oversee the production to ensure strict compliance with quality standards.
• Supervise procurement of raw materials and manage inventory levels to ensure continuous production.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing strict Health & Safety (HSE) protocols.
  

2. Sales & Marketing Management

• Manage sales by expanding customer base and increase market presence.
• Monitor market trends and use information obtained for growth of PipeMakers.
  

3. Technical & Engineering Management

• Support the technical and production personnel in successfully operating the manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure proper plant maintenance.
