Marketing Assistant

Zenag Chicken has pioneered the poultry industry in Papua New Guinea for over 75 years since 1946. We provide employment to over a thousand employees, working across all regions of the country with our Head Office based in Lae and farm a few hours’ drive out of the Lae city, together we aim to supply our nutritional products to our consumers nationwide.

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and self – motivated individual to join our Sales and Marketing Team. The successful candidate will serve in a multifunctional support role, assisting in various critical initiatives in marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Coordinating the production of marketing materials.
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Supporting the planning and execution of marketing activities.
• Collaborating with internal teams, to ensure marketing initiatives and overall marketing objectives are aligned.
• Assisting in creating and distributing email marketing campaigns.
• Preparing reports on marketing activities and campaign performance.
• Providing administrative support to the sales and marketing department as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ of experience in Marketing or Merchandising.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
• Pro-active in innovative thinking and problem- solving skills.
• Team player
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft office
• Ability to multi-Tasking and give attention to details effectively and efficiently.
