Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team in Lae. MasterSystem Technologies is a leader in providing high-level technical solutions—including GPS tracking, fuel management (FuelMaster), and remote asset monitoring—to the mining, transport, and petroleum sectors.

Based in the industrial hub of Morobe, the successful candidate will help bridge the gap between our complex technical systems and our clients' operational needs through clear, professional, and engaging marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Draft and update technical product sheets, case studies, and sales presentations for our core divisions (FleetMaster, FuelMaster, and OilMaster).

• Digital Management: Maintain our corporate social media presence (LinkedIn/Facebook) and ensure website content accurately reflects our latest technical innovations.

• Sector-Specific Campaigns: Support targeted marketing efforts for the mining, logistics, and industrial sectors across the region.

• Event Support: Coordinate logistics for trade shows, industry conferences, and on-site technical demonstrations in the Lae area and beyond.

• Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in telematics, IoT, and fuel automation to identify new growth opportunities.

Required Experience & Skills

• Technical Literacy: Ability to learn and communicate complex concepts (e.g., GPS telematics, remote tank gauging, and fuel consumption analysis).

• B2B Marketing: Familiarity with the corporate sales cycle, particularly within high-stakes environments like mining or oil and gas.

• Digital Proficiency: Experience with social media management tools, CMS platforms, and basic graphic design (Adobe Suite or Canva).

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professional accuracy.

• Local Knowledge: Understanding of the industrial and logistical landscape in Lae and the wider Morobe Province.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a marketing or administrative support role, ideally within a technical or industrial industry.
