MARKETING OFFICER

The Commercial division seeks potential candidates for the position of Marketing Officer within its Marketing Department. This position is based in Port Moresby.

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting brand awareness, graphic design and media. He/she will be supporting the commercial team in ensuring the company image is positioned to maximize the appeal to key segments. This role will require occasional travel within PNG.

We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering outstanding customer service demonstrated through your professional and dedicated work ethic; including exceptional verbal and written communication and the ability to communicate effectively with people from all levels within the company, this includes external stakeholders and the customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Graphic design and imagery; designing all aspects of our brand.
• Develop, implement and ensure branding discipline guidelines across the company.
• Managing our social media and web presence, including content creation across TikTok, Reels, video, Facebook and Instagram.
• Capture and source photography and video for social media, PR write-ups, the inflight magazine and marketing collateral.
• Engage with third party agents to ensure profitability and brand focus.
• Draft articles and responses for media publishing, including PR write-ups and content for the inflight magazine.
• Manage relationships with content and media suppliers to ensure timely, on-brand delivery.
• Monitor and compile competitor campaigns, ads and market intelligence.
• Manage attendance of trade and media events and manage stocks of promotional materials.
• Meeting quarterly key performance indicators (KPIs) as directed.

Requirements for the position:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Media or Design.
• Experience with Adobe, Corel, Illustrator, GIMP.
• Demonstrated experience creating content for TikTok, Reels, video and Facebook/Instagram platforms.
• Experience developing content for PR write-ups, print/inflight publications, and coordinating with external suppliers.
• Understanding of Marketing principles.
• Proficient with all aspects of IT; including web design and social media.
• Organizational and time management abilities, with ability to work unsupervised.
• Critical thinking and decision making.
• Experience with photography and basic photo/video editing for social and print use.
