KutMor Limited is a local landowner umbrella company that services the Oil & Gas Industry in the Kutubu and Moran areas in the Southern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea.

We currently have a vacancy in our Kutubu Office for the following role;

Motor Vehicle Mechanic

This is a FIFO role located in Kutubu, SHP, and reports directly to the Workshop Supervisor/ Operations Manager.

Key Responsibility Area

• Service, maintain and repair company and client vehicle/equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Respond to breakdowns (onsite and offsite)
• Maintain accurate maintenance records

Qualification

• Trade certificate in Automotive mechanics or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Valid Class 6 Driving Licence (Mandatory)
• Experience working with fleet and/or equipment preferred
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Honest and Reliable

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment systems, diagnostics, and repair
• Understanding of preventative maintenance practices

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as Motor Mechanic
• Experience working on both company and client assets is highly desirable
• Exposure to fleet and/heavy equipment maintenance is an advantage
