Qualifications and Experience

Senior Project Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Must be a registered member of Institute of Engineers PNG Inc. (IEPNG)
• Project Management Professional Certification would be an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in the civil engineering and construction industry
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Project Engineer
• Ability to lead, coordinate and motivate a multi-disciplined workforce
• Strong knowledge of PNG Codes (Building Act, MRA Act)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a Class 3 Driver’s License

Site Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in civil engineering & construction industry
• Must possess technical expertise to ensure daily construction activities meet quality, safety and productivity requirements.
• Proven experience with supervising subcontractors and direct hire employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written
• Must have a Class 3 Driver’s License

Surveyor

• Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in civil engineering & construction industry
• Registered Surveyor is preferable but not essential
• Must possess technical expertise and attention to detail, ensuring high-level of accuracy in work carried.
• Must possess experience with GPS/GNSS RTK System, Total Station, and Laser Level & Dumpy level
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written

Project Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Must be a registered member of Institute of Engineers PNG Inc. (IEPNG)
• Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering & construction industry
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Manager
• Proven track record of successfully managing medium to large-scale civil infrastructure projects (e.g., roadways, utilities, site development, public works).
• Demonstrated experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and BIM tools.
• Extensive hands-on experience managing subcontractors, negotiating contracts, and controlling project budgets.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
• Superior communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in standard office software suites and industry-specific applications
• Must have a Class 3 Driver’s License

Architect

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture & Building
• Minimum of 3 years in Building Design and Construction
• Must be a registered Architect with the PNG Board of Architects
• Proven experience in managing full project cycle from concept design to handover
• Must possess technical expertise and attention to detail, ensuring high-level of accuracy in work deliverables
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written

Building Supervisor

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture & Building
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in civil engineering & construction industry
• Minimum of 5+ years of work experience as a Building Supervisor.
• Must possess technical expertise to ensure daily building activities meet quality, safety and productivity requirements.
• Must have remote/rural experience to be able to lead projects and manage logistics in remote areas if required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational and delegation skills
• Strong knowledge of PNG Building codes and regulations
• Must have a Class 3 Driver’s License

Building Superintendent

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture & Building
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in civil engineering & construction industry
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in Building project management.
• Must possess technical expertise to ensure daily building activities meet quality, safety and productivity requirements.
• Proven experience with supervising subcontractors and leading an internal multi-disciplined workforce.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational and delegation skills
• Strong knowledge of PNG Building codes and regulations
• Must have a Class 3 Driver’s License

QA/QC Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered member of Institute of Engineers PNG Inc. (IEPNG) is preferable however not essential
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in civil engineering & construction industry
• Knowledge of quality assurance & control principles, standards, and regulations.
• Must possess proven experience with industry-specific software tools specifically AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Magnet Office, MS Projects
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering or construction project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Draftsman

• Diploma in Architecture & Building and / or Diploma in Drafting
• Must possess 3 years experience in civil, architectural and structural drawings
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to expedite drawings with speed and 100% accuracy
• Must have a high attention to detail
• Must possess industry knowledge in relation to Construction basics, PNG Building Code, Drawing Standards and other relevant building standards and codes
• Must possess proven experience with industry-specific software tools specifically AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Ketchup and Lumion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
