National Sales Manager

Location: Head Office, Port Moresby

This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands that strong sales performance is built through people, systems, and consistency — not slogans.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for leading and coordinating sales performance across the entire PNG Motors network. That means setting national sales strategy, aligning targets across branches, and working closely with branch managers, sales managers, marketing, finance, and senior leadership to drive sustainable growth.
Your role is to create clarity and momentum. You’ll review performance, identify gaps, and step in where support or correction is needed. You’ll coach sales leaders, lift standards, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure pricing, margins, and reporting are properly controlled.
You won’t be managing from a distance. This role requires presence — visiting branches, understanding local market realities, and making sure national direction actually works on the ground. Strategy matters, but execution matters more.
Who This Suits
This role suits an experienced automotive sales leader who has managed multi-branch or national operations and earned credibility with sales teams. You’re confident making decisions, comfortable holding people accountable, and able to balance ambition with realism in the PNG market.
You’re not afraid of numbers, but you also understand people. You know when to push, when to support, and when to step in personally. If you believe leadership is a title rather than a responsibility, this won’t be the right role.
