About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly disciplined Security Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of the organisation’s security function.
This role is critical in ensuring the safety and protection of company assets, personnel, and residential properties. You will be responsible for driving security strategies, managing risks, and ensuring all systems and procedures align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all security operations across company sites and residential properties
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve security systems, procedures, and protocols
- Conduct regular inspections and proactively address potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, tenants, external security providers, and law enforcement agencies
- Support and lead investigations into incidents, disciplinary breaches, or criminal activities, including reporting and recommendations
- Oversee performance of external security contractors, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Gather and analyse security intelligence, providing timely updates and recommendations to senior management
- Ensure effective response planning and implementation of preventive and pre-emptive security measures
- Degree in Public Policy Management, Political Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience within disciplined forces in PNG or a reputable security organisation
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and planning capabilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and general computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Flexible and willing to work beyond standard hours, including weekends when required
- A cover letter addressing key criteria of the role
