K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. About the role

Joining our Commercial team, you will support the Materials Team Lead with all K92 Mining import/export cargo movements to site, whilst assisting in facilitating payments to freight companies by correctly processing all necessary documentation. You will work to minimize the impact of the section on the environment and ensure the workplace health & safety of employees, contractors and other stakeholders are maintained.

Key Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position mean you will

• Ensure the prompt delivery arrangements for all import / export freight as required
• Achieve weekly and daily priorities, and report on activity and outcomes
• Ensure that all aspects of Material movements are undertaken in accordance with established policy and procedures. Ensuring that safety is paramount to all tasks performed.
• Assist the Logistics Team Lead to Investigate discrepancies and incidents.
• Ensure the timely completion of all tasks
• Register completion of materials to Kumian Site and Port warehouse ensuring conformation that deliveries are completed to the K92 Mine schedules and plans.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have the following

• Understanding of Pronto to support logistics requirements
• Experience with storage and handling of Dangerous goods
• Experience in Microsoft suite office tools – Excel, Word
• Class 6 License minimum
• RII or Proven VOC for forklift operations
• High problem-solving capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels of the organisation and engage all relevant stakeholders
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in logistics industry with relevant experience within material shipping and logistics
• Minimum 3-5yrs driving and operating experience
• Mining Industry experience preferred.
