PAINT SHOP STOREMAN

PNG Motors’ paint and panel operations are busy, practical environments where timing, accuracy, and preparation matter. When the paint shop runs smoothly, cars move. When it doesn’t, everyone feels it.

We’re looking for a Paint Shop Storeman to keep materials flowing, stock under control, and the paint team working without delays.

This is not a “stand around and wait” role. If you don’t like being on your feet, dealing with constant requests, or getting your hands dirty, this probably isn’t for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for managing paint shop inventory, receiving and issuing paint, thinners, consumables, and materials needed for daily operations. That means tracking stock levels, preparing materials for jobs, keeping the store area organised, and making sure the painters have what they need before they ask for it twice.

You’ll work closely with painters, panel beaters, supervisors, and parts staff to ensure jobs are not delayed due to missing or incorrect materials. Deliveries need to be checked properly, stock needs to be rotated, and records need to be accurate — because guessing how much paint is left doesn’t work.

Who This Suits

This role suits someone who is organised, reliable, and comfortable in a workshop environment. You don’t need to be a painter, but experience in a paint shop, panel shop, or automotive stores role will put you well ahead.
