Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our growing automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct automotive parts for customers, technicians, and service departments. Your expertise will help ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and identify automotive parts using catalogues, software, and manufacturer information
- Assist workshop technicians and customers with accurate parts identification
- Process parts orders, invoices, and returns
- Maintain and organize inventory, ensuring stock accuracy
- Source parts from suppliers when required
- Provide professional customer service both in person and over the phone
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and ordering
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in automotive parts sales (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Ability to read and interpret parts catalogues and electronic systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Computer literacy and experience with inventory systems
