Payroll Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Payroll Officer to join our Human Resources team in Port Moresby. Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll using Attache’s Access Payroll system, while ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain Payroll records and employee data
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations
• Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
• Handle payroll-related queries from employees

Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• Minimum 2-3 Years payroll experience
• Experience with Attache Access payroll preferred
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and high level of confidentiality and intergrity
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel and payroll systems
• Team player
