Pharmacist (8CHSSAN053) PS12

Purpose of the role

Must fully understand and implement the activities at the Hospital Pharmacy, Dispensary, Health Centres and other health facilities

Outline of duties:

• Organizing the pharmacy and dispensary in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster – must be familiar with M-supply
• Maintains full control over delivering, stocking and labelling medicine and other pharmaceutical supplies and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
• Ensures proper preparation and administration appropriate pharmaceuticals to client
• Attend to client and listen carefully to interpret their needs and issues and offer appropriate information and advice
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures

Requirements for the role:

• Must have Bachelor in Pharmacy
• degree in Nursing care or Electrical Engineering
• Sound knowledge and working as a pharmacist and working in the Pharmaceutical Services for at least 1-4 years
• Must be registered with PNG Medical Board/Committee of PNG
• Good Public Relation and Communication skills
