The Baptist Union of Papua New Guinea (BUPNG) has immediate vacancies for the following positions. These are full-time positions based in Tinsley Baptist Rural Hospital, Mul Baiyer District, Western Highlands Province.

Pharmacist (CHSWHP215) PG02

Purpose of the role

Must fully understand and implement the activities at the Hospital Pharmacy, Dispensary, Health Centres and other health facilities and will report to the Medical Superintendent.

Outline of duties:

• Organizing the pharmacy and dispensary in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster – must be familiar with M-supply
• Maintains full control over delivering, stocking and labelling medicine and other pharmaceutical supplies and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
• Ensures proper preparation and administration appropriate pharmaceuticals to client
• Attend to client and listen carefully to interpret their needs and issues and offer appropriate information and advice
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures

Requirements for the role:

• Must have Bachelor in Pharmacy from a recognize tertiary institution
• Sound knowledge and working as a pharmacist and working in the Pharmaceutical Services for at least 2-3 years
• Must be registered with PNG Medical Board/Committee of PNG
• Good Public Relation and Communication skills
• Must have Christian with sober work ethics
• Must have a valid NID Card or Birth Certificate
