The Opportunity:

Our client is a leading company in the FMCG sector, committed to innovation and excellence in their products and services. They are currently seeking to recruit a Planned Maintenance Team Lead.

As a Planned Maintenance Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing safe execution of all planned maintenance work. The focus of your team will be on all scheduled, routine maintenance work and maintain the upkeep and uptime of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all scheduled, planned maintenance work in progress.
  • Identify and address performance issues with equipment during inspections.
  • Lead and manage preventative maintenance execution team of shift technicians, ensuring proper team alignment and taking responsibility for the team's performance and technical development (performance evaluations/reviews).
  • Coordinates proper handover between operations and maintenance for all planned maintenance jobs
  • Ensures, manages and coordinates proper handover between the planning & scheduling team and the execution team.
  • Ensures proper coordination and handover for spares from and to the spare parts store.
  • Establish weekly, monthly and annual maintenance routines (CILT, PM days, PM tasks, Overhauls).
  • Enforces basic maintenance processes and routines.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related fields
  • 5+ years’ experience in maintenance and managing people and exposure in maintenance and operations execution
  • Effective troubleshooting and fault-finding skills with a passion for training others in these areas.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of 5S and good workmanship practices.
  • Good knowledge of workflow management, supply chain, and inventory management processes.
  • Well-versed in OHSE protocols and safety-conscious.
  • Ability to translate operational needs into optimized resource planning, including people, materials, processes, and equipment.
