Position Title: Power Solutions Manager

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Power Solutions Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise power solutions, including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of industry experience and hold relevant certifications as an electrician across major enterprise power products. This role requires expertise in managing large-scale UPS deployments, ensuring operational efficiency, and optimizing power infrastructure for business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Implementation:

• Lead the design and deployment of industry-standard UPS systems across enterprise environments.
• Develop and implement power infrastructure strategies that align with business continuity and sustainability goals.
• Evaluate and recommend advanced power solutions, including renewable energy integration and energy-efficient technologies.

Technical Leadership & Execution:

• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of enterprise-grade power systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards for electrical installations.
• Conduct load assessments, fault analysis, and system optimization to enhance power efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting and disaster recovery planning for critical power failures.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

• Work closely with internal teams, including IT, facilities, and operations, to integrate power solutions into business processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for power-related products and services.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff on power management best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, power solutions, or related fields.
• Certified electrician with expertise in enterprise power products (such as Schneider Electric, APC, Eaton, Vertiv, etc.).
• Extensive experience in large-scale UPS implementation for industrial or enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, surge protection, and energy efficiency in corporate environments.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, compliance standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in using power monitoring tools, PLC systems, and automation technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with smart grid technologies and sustainable energy solutions.
• Experience managing budgets and cost optimization for power infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive power efficiency initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
