PRODUCTION CLERK – LAE BASE

International Food Corporation ltd, the leading manufacture of Besta Mackerel and Tuna products in PNG and South Pacific seeking to recruit highly motivated and qualified experience individual to fill the position of Production Clerk.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

The Production Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the production department by maintaining accurate production records, preparing reports, monitoring attendance, and assisting with daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

• Prepare and update daily production reports.
• Record production output, downtime, rejects and wastage data.
• Monitor and update raw material and packaging material usage.
• Coordinate with pproduction, wwarehouse, QA, and mmaintenance departments.
• Prepare production related documents such as work orders, batch records and checklists.
• Ensure all production records are properly filed and maintained.
• Assist in stock reconciliation and inventory updates.
• Update manpower attendance and shift records.
• Monitor production schedules and communicate any changes.
• Prepare reports for management review.
• Support production audits and documentation compliance.
• Assist supervisors and managers with administrative tasks related to production activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, or related field.
• Previous experience in production, administration, or clerical work is an advantage.
• Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good numerical and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
