About the Role
We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Project Accountant to join our client’s project team. You will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring the financial aspects of the environmental remediation project, ensuring compliance with stakeholder and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and monitor all project expenditures accurately
  • Manage acquittals by reconciling and reporting on how project funds are spent in accordance with donor and stakeholder requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial documentation related to project activities.
  • Provide financial oversight to ensure the project is delivered within approved budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with project and finance teams to support effective financial management and reporting.
Requirement of the role
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) qualification
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project accounting or financial management, preferably in environmental or development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and acquittal processes.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and finance teams.
  • Willing to base in or travel to Arawa for work
