Tabubil Engineering Limited is a major contractor to Ok Tedi Mining Ltd in Western Province of Papua New Guinea. The company now has an immediate vacancy for a suitably qualified person for:

PROJECT ENGINEER

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from concept through to completion; and be able to communicate effectively across multicultural teams and manage technical challenges critical for the success of the project.

The successful applicant must possess the following attributes:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Previous project-based experience is highly desirable
• An experienced mechanical engineer, with 5+ years in a similar role
• Excellent management and supervisory skills
• Excellent Leadership and communication skills
• Possess Class 1-6 driver’s license
• Must have proof of current completed medical & police clearance certificate
• Proficient in English with excellent verbal, written communication, and public speaking skills
• Can speak Mandarin Chinese
