Position Summary
The Project Manager/Architect will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of construction and property development projects. This position combines architectural expertise with project management and cost estimation skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and resource plans from initiation to completion.
- Prepare and review design concepts, drawings, and specifications aligned with client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis, prepare BOQs, and provide accurate project budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee tendering, contractor negotiations, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Supervise engineers, site managers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.
- Ensure projects meet safety, environmental, and building code standards.
- Provide regular progress, cost, and risk reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong background in design and construction processes.
- Proficiency in preparing budgets, BOQs, and financial forecasts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and property management.
- Assertive, proactive, and capable of supervising diverse teams.
- Clear and effective communication with stakeholders, contractors, and staff.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and implement practical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Professional certification in Project Management or equivalent is an advantage.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in project management, architectural design, and cost estimation.
- Strong knowledge of property development and construction industry standards.
