JOB DESCRIPTION

PROPERTY SUPERVISOR (PORT MORESBY)

This position requires an individual with high initiative attitude to deal with property- relevant matters. The Property Supervisor is generally responsible for supervising properties of an organization and is very much knowledgeable in using personal computer (PC) as a main tool to communicate with property owners, clients / tenants, service providers and other staff. The Supervisor is responsible in finding tenants directly liaising with real estate agencies if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily operations of residential and/or commercial properties.
  • Supervise Maintenance and cleaning staff, ensuring timely property upkeep
  • Handle tenants relations, including lease agreement, renewals and conflict solutions
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinates repairs and maintenance with vendors and contractors.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by adhering to legal standards and regulations
  • Responsible in developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work related to properties
  • Recommends solution to problems related to properties as they arise
  • Responsible in looking out for tenants for vacated units.
  • Maintains good filing system of all properties. Prepare report on property condition.
  • Support leasing activities by assisting with tenants applications, move-ins and move-outs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably with certificate on Business Administration or related course
  • At least 3x years experienced in a supervisory position
  • With ability to find qualified tenants
  • Very knowledgeable in property handling i.e. leases, repairs, routine maintenance, security, etc.
  • Ability to handle multi tasks and work in fast-paced environment.
  • With driving skills and with valid driver’s license
  • With attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accounting / numerical skills required
  • Very good customer service

In 1985, Able Computing (PNG) was incorporated by Geoff Lazberger with Rick/Nick and several others became individual shareholders in the company. Geoff Lazberger ran the company as CEO until 1989 when he left to return to Australia. The initial list of clients around the country used either accounting software CBA or Arrow. The company was awarded national distributorship for both CBA and Arrow and I had also built up a dealership with companies having large clients bases who’d be a target for our software (Deloitte, Coopers & Lybrand, Daltron, etc,)
