Summary

To ensure that all site works are executed in accordance with the approved design drawings, planning documents, specifications, and regulatory standards by conducting regular inspections, reporting deviations, and coordinating with the site and design teams for quality assurance and control.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine site inspections to verify works are being built according to approved architectural, structural, and MEP design drawings.
  • Check and confirm compliance with approved planning layouts, setbacks, levels, and zoning regulations.
  • Identify non-conforming work and raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for any deviations from approved design documents.
  • Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Construction Manager, and Contractor to rectify design non-conformities.
  • Liaise with the Design Team to resolve design-related site issues or discrepancies.
  • Review and inspect mock-ups, material samples, and finishes to ensure alignment with design intent.
  • Assist in monitoring as-built drawing accuracy and ensure updates reflect actual site implementation.
  • Keep detailed photo documentation and inspection records of ongoing works.
  • Participate in site walk-throughs, joint inspections, and handover checks with consultants or approving authorities.
  • Monitor that construction sequencing aligns with planning schedules and staging strategies.
  • Support the implementation of design-related QA/QC processes on site.
  • Attend site coordination meetings and provide feedback on design compliance and risks.
  • Assist in verifying that site signage, fencing, temporary facilities, and environmental controls follow design and planning guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Registered Architect or Engineer preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of site QA/QC or site supervision experience in construction or real estate development.
  • Knowledgeable on CAD Drafting and Revit Knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, planning regulations, and site procedures.
  • Familiarity with building codes, zoning, and authority submission requirements.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality control.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience using digital inspection tools or QA/QC apps (a plus).
  • Can cover basic STR inspections if needed.
