Position Title: QC Inspector – Freezer

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented QC Inspector – Freezer to monitor raw meat quality and food safety during freezer withdrawal, thawing, batching, and pre-cooking stages. This role is critical in ensuring meat handling processes comply with company standards, food safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor raw meat withdrawal from freezer units to ensure product stability and compliance with allowable defrosting limits
• Conduct meat core temperature checks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain accurate inspection records and report deviations or defects promptly for corrective action
• Coordinate with the QA Assistant Manager on daily product formulation requirements
• Ensure hygiene, GMP, and safety standards are consistently followed across workstations
• Verify correct use of PPE and availability of rubbish cages prior to batching operations
• Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying process and workflow improvements
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Grade 12 or Diploma in Applied Science or equivalent qualification
• 2–3 years’ experience in QC within a freezer, meat processing, or food manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and food safety requirements
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
