CreditBank PNG is recruiting for a suitable candidate for the role of Quality Assurance Analyst.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and security of various IT systems and applications. Your primary responsibilities revolve around testing ICT solutions, identifying issues, and ensuring that software and systems meet the required standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and create detailed test plans outlining the scope, objectives, methodology, and resource requirements for testing projects.
• Conduct system and software testing including Functional, Integration, Performance, and Regression testing.
• Identify and document defects, issues and inconsistencies in system, software or application.
• Create detailed defect reports and collaborate with the development team to resolve them.
• Utilise issue tracking tools to monitor the status and resolution of reported issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
• Implement and execute automated test scripts using various testing tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all testing activities, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Manage test environments ensuring that they are configured and maintained in a manner that supports effective testing.
• Ensure testing procedures and processes comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and guidelines (e.g., GDPR, ISO/IEC standards).
• Support end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the system from a user perspective and ensure it meets business needs.

Key Competencies

• Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role in testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to achieving high standards of quality.

Key requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or a related field.
