Nestle PNG Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Assurance Technician for the Factory division based at the Lae Factory site.

Reporting directly to the Laboratory Compliance Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for
ensuring product safety and quality through the execution of essential quality tests and analyses on finished
products, intermediate products, and raw materials.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct routine chemical and sensory analysis as per the Production Plan, ensuring all finished goods
  complete quality inspections.
• Monitor and maintain the Nestlé Quality System Elements, including PRP, Net Weight Management,
  and verification of scales and checkweighers.
• Perform analyses and tests according to standard procedures and work instructions, ensuring the
  quality control plan for the equipment is upheld.
• Interpret results, escalate out-of-specification results, and report abnormalities via quality deviation
  notifications.
• Timely reporting of consolidated results and trends to relevant functions.
• Train operators and other technicians in performing simple analyses and tests related to their working
  area.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

Qualification, skills, and experience:

• Diploma or equivalent in Applied Sciences, Chemistry, Food Technology, or related fields.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or analytical environment is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral
• Ability to build trust and foster effective working relationships with stakeholders.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with the use of MS Office Suite.
