QUALITY SYSTEMS ANALYST

The Quality Systems Analyst reports directly to the Manager Quality Management Systems for all quality related occurrences reports processing and distribution to the applicable departments in line with company quality management systems procedures.

Ensuring that ISO 9001 international standards are continual improvements are consistently applied within the company quality management system is consistently provided so that internal customer needs and regulatory requirements are met.

Key accountabilities are:

1. Monitoring, analysing and reporting of the performance and effectiveness of the SafetyManagement System (SMS)
2. Using analytical skills, to identify key issues and trends impacting on the risk level of the organization and escalate to the General Manager Safety, Aviation Security & Risk directly of any adverse trend involving high risk
3. Providing quality reports to management on a weekly and monthly basis as specified in the QMS and as otherwise directed by the General Manager Safety, Aviation Security & Risk
4. Producing data for inclusion in SQAG and SQRB reports with appropriate commentary on trends, including analysis of flight data management reports.
5. Before the end of each year, conducting an evaluation of investigation findings, assessment outcomes and audit findings to assist in validating the future risk based audit schedule.
6. Developing and maintaining customized reports in the Quality Database against identified needs.
7. Providing trend advice to various management forums as requested by the General Manager Safety, Aviation Security & Risk, including a quarterly analysis of “Logged for Stats” data.
8. Monitor the audit schedule, ensuring that the requirements specified in the risk-based audit programme are achieved.
9. Conducting Audits as a Lead Auditor as allocated in the audit schedule.
10. Escalating to the General Manager Safety, Aviation Security & Risk directly of any deficiencies in the QMS which affect, or may affect, the safety of aircraft, clients or staff, or the achievement of corporate objective

Qualification/Experience/Skills

• Lead Auditor Certificate
• Safety Investigator Certificate*
• Formal qualification in analytics*
• PNG Air Safety Management System Training Level 3*
• PNG Air Quality Management System Training Level 3*
• 5 years of experience in an aviation in an organisational role
• 3 Years of experience within an SMS or QMS
• Relevant tertiary qualification of a Diploma or above
