About the Role
The organisation is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its property division. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to contribute to a variety of commercial and civil infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be involved in cost estimation, contract administration, tender preparation, and financial reporting, all within a collaborative and supportive project team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project cost estimates at various design stages (feasibility, concept, developed design, construction)
  • Prepare tender documentation, including complete Bills of Quantities and specifications
  • Preparation and administration of consulting, supply and Construction Contracts.
  • Review and recommend variations, extension of time claims, and contract-related matters
  • Maintain a database of building costs and historical data
  • Develop and update project programs in Gantt formats
  • Monitor statutory requirements, including building board applications
  • Ensure HSE compliance and maintain detailed site progress records
  • Attend meetings and conduct regular site visits to track project progress
Requirements of the Role
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or related field
  • Over 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in building and civil works
  • Strong understanding of project costing, BOQ preparation, and contract administration
  • Proficient in MS Excel, project scheduling software and quantity surveying tools
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Team player with high attention to detail and commitment to quality
