Purpose of the role
Responsible to provide efficient and effective Radiography services in a District Hospital. Reports to the Manager, Medical services to plan and implement radiography services, delegate and manage radiography case load both within and outside hospital.
Outline of duties:
- Coordinate the implementation of radiography services in accordance with hospital policy and priorities
- Work with other Clinicians within the Hospital to provide radiography services to clients
- Conduct evaluation and monitor activities of the radiography services for further improvement
- Supervise and train radiography students in radiography techniques and procedures.
- Work with all clinician in the District Hospital to provide radiography services
Requirements for the role:
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography
- Must have Minimum of two to three years of work experience as a Radiographer
- Must be Registered as a Radiographer with PNG Medical Board of PNG
- Good organizational skills
- Good Public Relation and Communication skills
- Must have a valid NID Card or Birth Certificate
