Radiographer (8CHSWHP219)

Purpose of the role

Responsible to provide efficient and effective Radiography services in a District Hospital. Reports to the Manager, Medical services to plan and implement radiography services, delegate and manage radiography case load both within and outside hospital.

Outline of duties:

• Coordinate the implementation of radiography services in accordance with hospital policy and priorities
• Work with other Clinicians within the Hospital to provide radiography services to clients
• Conduct evaluation and monitor activities of the radiography services for further improvement
• Supervise and train radiography students in radiography techniques and procedures.
• Work with all clinician in the District Hospital to provide radiography services

Requirements for the role:

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography
• Must have Minimum of two to three years of work experience as a Radiographer
• Must be Registered as a Radiographer with PNG Medical Board of PNG
• Good organizational skills
• Good Public Relation and Communication skills
• Must have a valid NID Card or Birth Certificate
